clean rooms, valet parking, proximity to public transport
Air conditioning in certain budget rooms felt misleading!!! Check-in process took forever, with slow receptionists not accommodating the waiting guests!!! Renovation is overdue due to the hotel's age!!!

The hotel was great for my family. The breakfast was fantastic, my daughter enjoyed her vegetarian options, and I really appreciated the nice coffee.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for what you get, it's still reasonable.

The hotel staff are genuinely kind and attentive. I felt welcomed from check-in. Breakfast included tasty fruit and nice coffee, which was a pleasant start each day. The location has a neighborhood feel, with local shops and attractions just a short walk away. However, the rooms are quite small and a bit cramped for my taste. The check-in process took forever, and I noticed the receptionists were a bit slow, leaving me feeling a bit frustrated. The cleanliness could use some improvement. I found the elevator floor dirty during my stay. My room had some issues with the phone not working, making it hard to reach reception easily. It would be nice to see some updates in the hotel, as it definitely has an older vibe. Still, if you’re in town for a short stay and can overlook some of its minor issues, it can be a decent option near the city’s attractions.

amazing central spot for city explorations and park visits
I really enjoyed the clean rooms and the super helpful staff, making it easy to explore nearby attractions like the stunning Escadaria Selaron, just about 1 km away, and the beautiful Campo de Santana, only a 15-minute walk from the hotel. staying here made it so convenient to soak up the culture and scenery of Rio in just a weekend, though the only drawback was that the HVAC system was a bit inconsistent, which could use some improvement.

Had a great time with friends! We visited Copacabana beach and enjoyed the Olympic Village. The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was good. The valet parking was a nice bonus, and the staff was super helpful with English. Worth considering for a fun group trip!
The rooms were very small, which was a bit of a tight squeeze for our group. Could be a factor if you're packing a lot.
